I ain't gonna change cranks to lose 100g in fact I've had XT cranks on the bike earlier (at least 200g lighter) but they look boring and I couldn't feel any difference in performance. As for the tyres - yes they're heavy but they feel great bombing down the hill and that's what I'm most interested in. I've got all sorts of parts at the shop that I could use - what you see here is what I like.

i thank you for submitting your reply about health insurance! my family does have health insurance and I am grateful of i. I have been a patient in a canadian hospital and many times in the US(since i live here). Canadian healthcare doesn't compare to US healthcare form my point of view. The doctors in the US are on a totally different level.

hey, I'm in Australia for a couple of weeks and I was wondering what the riding scene was like in general as id like to try and get some riding in.

I realise oz is a huge place, but you dont know of any good riding in the Brisbane or Sydney area?

In general whats the oz biking scene like? is it pretty underground or what? Ive seen a couple of people riding street/park and some guys in freeride/dh bikes but only while passing in the car so i havnt had a chance to speak to any riders Frown
